December 2009, Safe Roads For Better Life Project which is conducted by Handicap International Belgium in Dong Nai Province participated in the conference "Trauma before hospitalization for Commune Health Center". The conference was organized by Department of Treatment and funded by WHO

At the conference, Handicap International shared the model og giving first aid to road accident victims before their being transferred to the hospitals. There had been 25 first aid posts set up in Dong Nai Province. A core group of first aid trainers was established with 14 members in 4 districts

First Aid is one of 5 intervention fields made through Safe Roads For Better Life Project in Dong Nai.
